AN INTRODUCTION TO DI MARTENS

This was our great first lunchtime meeting at the Royal Akarana Yacht Club Café.  Separate room set aside for us.
President Mike [keep off the grass!] Alison welcomed us and introduced Brian Hackett, President of the Remuera Club. Brian acknowledged the Club and the work of Peter Ross in particular for RYLA and other projects.

President Mike introduced Di Martens who gave us a lively introduction to her life to date, her early years and sporting achievements, her family and her working career and her interests. Her key professional involvements have been in design and print, and real estate.  She has been very successful in both and defines her success as the challenge to do and be better.

As Di reminded us:

Thanks, Di, for a delightful slide show and a great presentation.  Great to have you with us as a member.
