Dr Siouxie Wiles MNZM

For those of you who have not registered for this event our guest at our evening meeting on 5 November 2019 at Remuera Golf Club will be Dr Siouxie Wiles MNZM. Dr Siouzsie Wills is a well known microbiologist and science commentator (with pink hair) in the media, who has a keen interest in taking away the mysteries of science.  In her day job she is an Associate Profesor in the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences where she is responsible for the Bioluminescent Superbugs Lab. In that space she seeks to gain an understanding of infectious diseases and tries to fin new antibiotics. In 2019 Dr Wiles was appointed a memember of the NZ Order of Merit for servies to microbiology and science communication. The topic of her address will be Superbugs and Anti-biotics. This address promises to be entertaining and informative so do register so we can advise Remuera of the numbers attending.
